Enter Terminal Getaway.
Both a freestanding airport spa and a web boutique, Terminal
Getaway is bringing back the era of “days gone by,” a
time that exuded both class and service. Our goal is to
become the number one source for travelers offering personal
spa services as well as well-known and unique products from around
the world. Great service is not viewed as “going
the extra mile”—it is simply our standard.
Terminal Getaway Airport Spa is opening late this fall in the
Charlotte Douglas International Airport. We are
seeking qualified applicants in the areas of massage therapy,
esthetics, nails, barber/hot shave services and retail/front
desk. All departments must be available for training
some time during the month of October. We are looking for team
players who are willing to grow with the company and embrace
our philosophy. We are offering a bonus structure and great incentive
package for those who perform beyond expectation. Applicants
must be willing to work early and/or late shifts, as the operating
hours of the airport are not of a traditional freestanding establishment.
All departments must be capable of executing services on a timeframe
compliant with the customers’ limited time schedule, without
compromising quality or hygienic standards of service. Please

NAIL TECHNICIANS
We are looking for nail technicians who are proficient in standard
nail services of grooming nails, polish application, massage
and exfoliation. This may also include hand and foot treatments
in addition to traditional services. All technicians must
be able to execute services in order to accommodate the needs
and time constraints of the traveling client without compromising
service, standards and sanitation. Technicians must exhibit excellentcommunication
skills in order to educate the client on their general well being
and suggest retail products to enhance their travel or home regimen.
Dependability is a must! A variety of shifts will be available,
but therapists must be willing to work early and/or late hours
in order to comply with the operating times of the airport. Technicians
will be required to perform miscellaneous tasks during downtime,
including restocking stations, laundry and other related tasks. Mandatory
training will take place in October.
Compensation will include an hourly rate or commission, whichever
is greater, an incentive/bonus program and benefits.
BARBER/HOT SHAVE SPECIALIST
At Terminal Getaway, we are proud to be the only airport establishment
to carry the very elite The Art of Shaving brand. While you will
be trained to use this high quality product to execute the perfect
hot shave, experience in conducting hot shaves is a necessary
requirement. You will also be expected to perform male haircutting
services.
All barber/hot shave specialists must be able to execute services
in order to accommodate the needs and time constraints of the
traveling client without compromising service, standards and
sanitation. Barber/hot shave specialists must exhibit excellent
communication skills in order to educate the client on their
general well being and suggest retail products to enhance their
travel or home regime.
Dependability is a must! A variety of shifts will be available,
but barber/hot shave specialists must be willing to work early
and/or late hours in order to comply with the operating times
of the airport. Barber/hot shave specialists will be required
to perform miscellaneous tasks during downtime; including restocking
and sanitation of barber/hot shave area, laundry and other related

MASSAGE THERAPISTS
We are looking for therapists who are skilled in the basic areas
of massage, including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports and Reflexology,
as well as any specialty techniques that would greater enhance
our philosophy of educating and servicing clients with global
therapies. Please note that we will be choosing therapists who
have the highest level of skills and diversity.
All therapists must be able to execute services in order to
accommodate the needs and time constraints of the traveling client
without compromising service, standards and sanitation. Therapistsmust
execute proper draping techniques for both male and female clients.
Therapists must exhibit excellent communication skills in order
to educate the client on their general well being and suggest
retail products to enhance their travel or home regimen. All
therapists must keep licenses up to date.

ESTHETICIANS
We are looking for estheticians with a thorough knowledge of
the skin anatomy, as well as the practical application of products
used in treatment. Training will be provided on our signature
oxygen facial services as well as any other methods that may
be added to our service menu.
All estheticians must be able to execute services in order to
accommodate the needs and time constraints of the traveling client
without compromising service, standards and sanitation. Estheticians
must exhibit excellent communication skills in order to educate
the client on their general well being and suggest retail products
to enhance their travel or home regimen. All estheticians
must keep licenses up to date.
Dependability is a must! A variety of shifts will be available,
but therapists must be willing to work early and/or late hours
in order to comply with the operating times of the airport. Estheticians
will be required to perform miscellaneous tasks during downtime,
including restocking therapy rooms, laundry and other related

RETAIL/FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for a strong retail and reception team who can
exhibit an excellent level of customer service. You are the first
impression that our guests will have as they enter the spa, so
you will be expected to execute clear and effective communication
skills to guests, while making them feel as if they have entered
a completely different environment from the busy terminal.
You will be expected to be well versed in all areas of retail
and available to answer any questions that guests may have and
be able to give them extensive feedback and demonstration if
applicable. Experience in retail is preferred with the ability
to execute suggestive and add-on sales. Applicants must have
computer skills, the ability to multitask and fulfill client
transactions.

but retail/front desk receptionists must be willing to work early
and/or late hours in order to comply with the operating times
of the airport. Retail/front desk receptionists will be required
to perform miscellaneous tasks during downtime, including cleaning
and restocking shelves and other related tasks. Mandatory
